Jeremy + Mari Lyn

Last night we arrived home from a long weekend in Bellevue, site of the wedding of Jeremy & Mari Lyn (Petrick) Stewart. What an incredible time, reconnecting with friends and witnessing the beginning of Jeremy & Mari Lyn’s journey as husband and wife.

Jeremy is one of those rare friends who embodies the qualities we admire most: he’s humble, authentic, unselfish, has a listening ear, a wise mind, and is adept at seeing into the hearts and lives of others. Couple that with his considerable hoops skills and we became friends for life when we met for the first time back in ‘99 at OSU. It was a privilege to be one of Jeremy’s groomsmen, alongside my brother-in-law Kris Zyp. (In fact, each of us had the other two as groomsmen in our wedding.)

Here’s a pic at the reception on Lake Washington:

  • What is deTheos?

The two Greek words de ("but") and Theos ("God") are the first two words of Ephesians 2:4: "But God, who is rich in mercy..." Because of God's great love and grace extending to us in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, redeemed and able to know, love + enjoy God more fully, ever-increasing and forever.
This site contains the thoughts and conclusions and journeys of the Patterson family -- Jeff, Kari and Dutch -- who have experienced the front-end of God's amazing grace, and continue to delight in His unfailing love.
