Unity

Unity
God is uniquely One (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the only God to ever exist, and while He exists in the eternal Trinity, He remains one indivisible God (1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; 1 Tim. 2:5). As God is One, the Persons of the Trinity are not separate essences within the one divine essence (John 17:11).

    The two Greek words de ("but") and Theos ("God") are the first two words of Ephesians 2:4: "But God, who is rich in mercy..." Because of God's great love and grace extending to us in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, redeemed and able to know, love + enjoy God more fully, ever-increasing and forever.
