Voting as subjects of King Jesus

I am not looking for a Messiah to be elected on Nov. 4th. We already have One; He is King Jesus.

Yet, our vote does matter , and we should and must vote as informed citizens of our fair country.

Drawing principles from the discourse in 1 Corinthians 7:29-31, John Piper takes each of the phrases and compares them to our relation to voting — doing what we must "as though" we were not. A good and challenging read.

We seek the good of this world, while remaining subjects of King Jesus and citizens of His Kingdom.
